Above/Below
Overview
Above/Below (also known as Barrier Options or Touch/No Touch) allows traders to predict whether the asset price will reach a specific barrier level before expiry.
Key Features
- Barrier Levels: Set specific price targets (barriers)
- Touch Options: Win if price touches the barrier
- No Touch Options: Win if price doesn't touch the barrier
- Higher Payouts: Typically offers better returns than standard High/Low
How It Works
Above (Touch)
Predict that the asset price will touch or go above a specified barrier level before expiry. You win if the price reaches that level at any point during the trade.
Below (Touch)
Predict that the asset price will touch or go below a specified barrier level before expiry. You win if the price reaches that level at any point during the trade.
Trading Steps
- Select Above/Below trading mode
- Choose your asset
- Set the barrier level (target price)
- Choose "Above" or "Below"
- Select expiry time
- Enter investment amount
- Confirm and monitor if price touches the barrier
Strategic Advantages
- Breakout Trading: Ideal for trading breakouts from support/resistance
- Volatile Markets: Profit from price swings in either direction
- News Trading: Capitalize on major economic announcements
- Range Trading: Use "No Touch" for range-bound markets
Payout Structure
Above/Below options typically offer higher payouts (80-300%) compared to standard High/Low options, as the probability of touching a barrier is factored into the pricing.
Tips for Success
