Affiliate Payments

Created: 12/26/2016 | Updated: 8/23/2018 | Status: Published

Affiliate payments are done once a month by the 14th day of the month. All commissions for the previous month are sent by the partners' preferred payment method.

In order for an affiliate to be paid commission, we must have verified documents on fileand proof of the payment method. The documents needed to verify an affiliate is a copy of the identification matching the name on the affiliate account and a screen shot of the Moneybookers account (only for Moneybookers payments) or a copy of a bank statement as proof the account is in the partners' name (only for wire transfers).

Sort affiliates to be paid

In order to do affiliate payments, you will first need to figure which affiliates are to be paid. Please see the steps below:

  1. Sort all partners report according to balance (descending order)
  2. Filter by status ‘active’ (declined or blocked affiliates are not to be paid)
  3. Pay affiliates with a balance of $300 or more
  4. Double check you have ID/validation and payment method for each affiliate to be
    paid.

If you do not have validation for affiliate, you must request and receive documents before paying. Documents needed for wire transfers are a copy of passport or ID and bank statement.

If the payment will be made through Moneybookers, the documents needed will be a copy of passport or ID, plus bank statement OR screen shot of moneybookers account providing the name on the Moneybookers account.

Please see the template below when emailing an affiliate for documents:

Hi XXX,

I am contacting you in regard to your affiliate commission for the month of XXX. As

a safety measure for our partners, we now require specific documents to confirm your

identity in order to ensure we are sending commission to the correct partner. Therefore,

kindly provide us with a copy of your ID or passport as well as a bank statement (for

commissions being sent via wire) or a screen shot of your Moneybookers account

confirming the name on the account (for commissions being sent via Moneybookers). As

soon as we receive these documents your commission will be sent accordingly.

Thank you in advance,

Check users/fraud

Before sending affiliate commission, the users should first be checked in order to make sure the commission was not brought from clients with fraudulent activity. This is more relevant for CPA accounts as revenue share accounts only earn commission as clients are trading. In order to check the users that generated commission for a specific month:

  1. Open affiliate account details
  2. Go to “Commissions” tab
  3. Choose the date range for the relevant month. For example, if you are looking at September commissions, you will filter the date range September 1 – September 30.
  4. Check the status of each client that has earned the affiliate commission for that month by clicking on the User ID:
    1. Make sure the client traded a minimum of the amount of the deposit
    2. Make sure the client does not have an open issue with banking/fraud
    3. Make sure the client is not withdrawing without trading the volume of the
      deposit.

Prepare affiliate payment forms

For each affiliate payment there should be an affiliate payment form created. Please see the affiliate payment form as an example. After the payment is made and the balance is cleared, each affiliate should be sent an email with their unique affiliate payment form attached as a PDF.

Make payment

Pay the affiliate using the correct payment details.

Clear balance

Remember: Affiliates are only paid according to "Payable Balance" in the admin. Payable balance is a record of all commissions earned from clients who have met terms (traded the volume). Balance is a record of all commissions earned, not just ones who have met terms.

Balance – How much commission the affiliate has earned. This includes all commission.

Payable balance – Commission that has been earned by affiliate and passes the criteria needed to be considered "payable" – The client traded minimum volume of deposit, has not withdrawn and is validated.

The balance and payable balance should be the same for revenue share. These can be different for CPA because an affiliate may have an FTD but the client may not have traded at least the first deposit (which is what qualifies commission as payable).

Please see the steps below in order to clear the balance:

  1. Open affiliate account details
  2. Go to "Payments" tab
  3. Enter payable balance to be paid in "Amount"
  4. Enter the current date in due date
  5. Enter comments. For example, paid $300 on December 8 for October/November
    commission.
  6. Press Send

  1. Go back to affiliate basic info tab and refresh to confirm the amount was taken from the payable balance.
  2. Sign affiliate payment form with "Paid" and the date the payment was made – all affiliate payment forms are kept in the affiliate payment folder and uploaded to the affiliate account.

Send confirmation

Once the affiliate is paid, send the affiliate a confirmation email from the banking department with the following template and an attachment of the affiliate payment form in PDF file:
